ESPNU 150 outside linebacker Aramide Olaniyan back on the market
Four-star prospect Aramidie Olanyian (Woodberry Forest, Va.) has officially opened his recruitment back up, ESPN's JC Shuburtt reports.

"I am still very interested in Duke, but I decommitted early this morning," he said.

Michigan, North Carolina and others are in the mix. Wake Forest, Vanderbilt, UCLA, Maryland, Stanford, Notre Dame, Virginia, Clemson, Tennessee and Florida State are amongst the other schools to offer.

ESPNU 150 outside linebacker Aramide Olaniyan registered eight tackles, six tackles for loss and three sacks during Woodberry Forest's (Va.) 43-14 victory over Bishop Ireton (Alexandria, Va.), ESPN's JC Shurburtt reports.

UM needs a ton of DB help but they also need elite talent there as well if they want to have an elite defense. This kid is unranked. I will look into as to why just to make sure it isn't simply due to an injury.

MGoBlog looked at Johnson yesterday, with an update today ... no injury to speak of (at least in those posts), but no real reason he hasn't been ranked yet. The blog posts contain a ton of fluff from his coach (not surprising) but also an unsolicited e-mail from an opposing coach who's coached against Johnson and thinks he's extremely talented. This coach, FWIW, has coached several NCAA and pro players (though his e-mail doesn't name any) and has connected with RR previously, given RR's experience recruiting LA starting at Tulane.

Let's be honest--if Johnson has legit safety speed, he could probably start for us right now.
