Beanie Ginn is on a distinguished road
2013 Senior Bowl

Does it concern you that the B1G only has nine players in the Senior Bowl while the SEC has twice that amount? Or is it more concerning that the PAC-12 has 15 and the ACC has 11. Big-12 even has 10.

Only 7/12 schools are represented. Only Ohio State and Illinois have more than one player.

Am I over-reacting or is this a legitimate concern?

Some players turned down offers. I know Craig Roh specifically turned down an offer and he's down in Arizona working out with Tom from what I hear. I'd like to see how many turned down offers and then make my decision. Not to mention the Big Ten was down this year. I think the next few seasons could look better for the Big Ten. By 2014, we'll be right up there with the SEC as a whole.

It's changed from years past, now it's a lot of listening to agents and "business decisions" on where or if they will play in some of these games and there's quite a few.

Here's a rundown:

Casino Del Sol College All-Star Game
Jan. 16 / Tucson, Ariz.
8 p.m. ET / Fox Sports Net

East-West Shrine Game
Jan. 21 / St. Petersburg, Fla.
4 p.m. ET / NFL Network

Battle of Florida
Jan. 21 / Boca Raton, Fla.
8 p.m. ET / Fox College Sports

Senior Bowl
Jan. 28 / Mobile, Ala.
4 p.m. ET / NFL Network

And then there's the NFL Combine, the "real" bowl game.

Well from the rosters I saw:

E/W Shrine Game - 1
NFLPA Game - 1
Casino Del Sol College All-Star Game - 0, but I saw players from all over including Japan

So that's 11 BUCKEYES in those three games, good news they must be LOADED in 2013 for a team that went 12-0 in 2012.

Not necessarily true. IE: See entire defensive line leaving. You have to factor in people who leave early. OSU lost a good amount of talent to people leaving that aren't seniors.

I stand corrected. But he would have been in the Senior Bowl had he stayed, so there's my point. I thought you had more people leave early for the draft.
