Bielma to Arkansas?

Quote:
In a stunning coup, Arkansas will hire Wisconsin's Bret Bielema as its next football coach, Yahoo! Sports has learned.
Bielema, who has taken the Badgers to three straight Rose Bowls, was nowhere on the radar amid months of speculation over who Arkansas would hire.

I guess Arkansas must have thrown a lot of money at him, can't imagine any other reason he would go there.

Reading $5.5 million. Yeah, a lot of money. People wonder why the SEC is what it is. A big part is coaching. BB has gone to three straight Rose Bowls and is leaving for Arkansas...ARKANSAS!

I've always thought he was a terrible in game coach. I'm surprised that Arkansas would hire him and throw that much money at him. But then again, maybe I'm not that surprised!

LOL,
Stewart Mandel ‏@slmandel So I guess then Bielema has changed his mind about Urban Meyer SEC-style recruiting?

Gregg Doyel ‏@GreggDoyelCBS As @JMLIS notes, Bielema in February: “We at the Big Ten don't want to be like the SEC - in any way, shape or form"

In the last game they showed BA on camera on the field, the announcers said they asked him if he'd want to return to coaching.....well he smiled and did NOT say no. Hmmmm.

I think this might not have just happened this week, we'll see.
